Between the next Congresses participants pledged to plant melliferous trees in parks, schools, forests and crop areas or they are already doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 49 registered participants in this campaign since October 2023, the following five were the finalists, based on the number of trees, type of trees and the evidence provided (list and photos of plants, etc):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Albena PALAVUROVA (Kindergarden &#8220;8th of March&#8221;, Plovdiv, Bulgaria)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fredy SANGA (Tanzania Honeybee Haven)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peter MWANGI (Beekeeping Association)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jody &amp; Ralph MICHELL (Kaimai Range Honey &#8211; New Zealand)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CASA APIS project (Brazil)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Apimondia choose two finalists to share the Outstanding Achievements Award that were announced during the 49th Apimondia Congress in Copenhagen: And these were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Peter MWANGI (Beekeeping Association)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jody &amp; Ralph MICHELL (Kaimai Range Honey &#8211; New Zealand)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Apimondia will continue to encourage citizens, beekeepers, schools, associations, and whoever he is interested to work towards greening the planet with melliferous trees. Plants and trees are essential for the survival of our bees as well as solitary bees and other pollinators, and eventually for our food security.
