For the first time, during the 49th Apimondia Congress, each Apimondia Scientific Commission selected one student poster to be awarded. Students uploaded their posters on the congress platform and each commission evaluated them according to the following criteria:
- Title: Easy to read, captured the idea/topic of the poster.
- Written material: Introduction/ methodology/results/conclusions. Wording should be limited, clear, easy to follow, easy to read, and accurate.
- Layout/Design: Space used effectively. Graphics and writing are not crowded and the layout is easy to follow.
- Creativity: Graphics/Pictures/Illustrations: They enhance poster’s impact or message and help the viewer to understand the content.
- Overall impression: Poster attracting attention and conveying a message to the beekeepers
Seventy-two student posters were uploaded. The awardees were announced and called to receive their Certification of the Award during the Closing Ceremony.
